As for GT5, Not rating it all that, Graphics are superb but maybe I just don't like car games so much (unless it happens to be burnout).
But you could have just said MGS and just stuck to that.
Are you a sad person?
'Aye'.
And copies of 'suspect' DVDs by the telly..
reload. And it does give you that extra button.
.
The Cell is not a major advantage over the 360's impressive cores. The graphic cards are where all the graphics are at (Ask any PC owner), And I think the graphic cards on these two machines are very closely matched.
My first PS2 was the best way into DVD, and back in those days, everyone was raving about how cool DVD is (compared to VHS). Not many people are raving about the hi-def stuff so the main selling point has to be games this time around.
I know lots of people who are happy with their PS2's and the thing is still selling well..
and it's wii..
Fortunately, me, being born in the 60's can still say that I'm a hard-core gamer.. (erm.. ish)
.
This means they are here to stay and for the future, we can expect healthy competition to give us a better deal on consoles... Good.
The 360 is doing way better than the original xbox, I still reckon it's got a few years left in it, though they do seriously need to think about an xbox 360.5 with a blu ray player.
Didn't want to upset the PS3 girlies.
Is it coming out in June?
.
How many games have you bought THIS year..
.
Hell no!
MGS will do very well, but it's still possible for Gears of War 2 to outsell it because the install base is big and the first one did very, very well.
Simply because they are interactive, you, yourself actually take part in performing the violence whilst in a film you are just an observer.
However, as I always say 'Gimme games with Guns anyday'.. And I think games should have a 'splatter rating', so I'm never disappointed. ;-)
